​The Lincoln's Life Mattered Foundation is dedicated to changing the narrative surrounding youth mental Illness and transforming how we perceive this complex issue. It’s about shifting from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support. We will accomplish this through the following objectives:
Raising Awareness​

Objective: Increase awareness about mental health issues among youth.
Actions: Conduct public awareness campaigns, educational programs, and community outreach to reduce stigma and promote open discussions about mental health.
Improve Access to
Mental Health Services
Objective: Ensure that young people have access to affordable and effective mental health care.

Actions: Advocate for better mental health services in schools and communities and partner with mental health professionals to offer subsidized services to youth.
Strengthen Family &
Community Support
Objective: Engage families and communities in supporting the mental health of young people.

Actions: Provide training for parents, coaches, teachers and caregivers on how to support youth mental health and create programs to involve communities in mental health advocacy.
Providing Resources & Support

Objective: Offer accessible resources for young people to manage mental health challenges.

Actions: Provide tools, educational materials, online resources, and access to counselling services.
Build Resilience &
Coping Skills
Objective: Equip young people with the skills to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

Actions: Run workshops or programs focused on resilience training, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and stress management.
Promoting Early Intervention

Objective: Encourage early identification and intervention for mental health issues.
Actions: Partner with organizations on the development of programs to identify early warning signs and provide support before mental health issues become severe.
Create Safe Spaces

Objective: Foster safe and supportive environments for youth to discuss their mental health openly.

Actions: Parter with organizations on the development of peer support groups, online communities, or safe spaces within schools or local organizations.
